OUR STORY
At approximately 1am on the 1st of January 2020 a very drunk Grace met a very sober Kate. They hit it off and Kate decided to go on a date with Grace a few days later. Luckily it was Kate's turn to be the embarrassment then when she got escorted into the pub they were meeting at by the bouncer, having forgotten her ID. After a memorable first date, which in true lesbian fashion lasted about 14 hours, the two were inseparable... until Grace went to Australia.
Although they video called everyday and had plans for Kate to visit Grace in Aus, Kate and her bestie, Em, decided to plot the end of the world as we know it. Yes, they joked about a "worldwide pandemic" to bring Grace home early... which as everyone knows did in fact come true. I'm sure both Kate and Em are very sorry for the inconvenience it caused everyone else, but their plan worked, Grace returned to the UK and moved in with Kate in March 2020.
Grace and Kate soon welcomed some babies into their world, in the shape of 8 gorgeous rats. Which expanded to 10 over the following couple of years.
Kate introduced Grace to mountain biking which quickly became one of the pairs favourite things to do. Grace didn't have the same luck when introducing Kate to basketball, turns out you need to be able to throw and catch to enjoy that.
Over the years the two have truly integrated their life and become each others ride or die. They look forward to the future and being able to call each other their "wife"!
